IN THE SPOTLIGHT:  TOMMY DALY

Tommy's bio:

In addition to playing the acoustic bass guitar, I am an outsider artist. In 1999 -
at 38 years of age, (and long before being diagnosed with bipolar and anxiety
disorders) I felt a strong compulsion to express myself artistically in addition to
playing the bass, so I went ahead and started teaching myself how to paint and these
paintings are the result. And hopefully, what my paintings lack in technique they
certainly make up for in personality!

I've found that I tend to paint mainly when I'm not feeling well, but that's good
because I like the idea that by doing so, something positive comes out of
something negative!

MEDIA: Small scraps of Kilimanjaro 300 pound Watercolor paper, Robert Simmons White
Sable brushes and Winsor & Newton Artist Watercolor halfpans.
