The Heart of Virginia Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation that offers charitable and educational opportunites to promote emotional well-being through the arts and to fight the prejudice and discrimination against persons with mental illness. Our mission is to raise awareness of a desperate need for expanded and accessible mental health and well being programs, and to erase the stigma of mental illness through education and community outreach.
