MUSIC FOR MENTAL HEALTH -Music for Mental Health, in Partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project, would like to announce plans are in the works for “The Wounded Warrior American Heroes Tour" The Heart of Virginia Foundation has enlisted the help of a rotating cast of some of the finest southern rockers including former band members from Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Greg Allman Band, Blackfoot, the Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, and many more. The Wounded Warrior American Hero’s Tour will conduct performances at VA hospitals, military bases, and at community events across the United States.
If you are diagnosed with a mental illness and would like to share your story, music or artwork, please contact monica@theheartofva.org. We'd love to consider you for our SPOTLIGHT section or perhaps a feature performance/exhibit in the Songbird Stage and Gallery! The Heart of Virginia needs your help to meet our goals!
